How do I get started?

Click on the 'Enquire Now' button at the top, fill out your details and a friendly member of staff will call you back. Alternatively call 01516314900 to talk to us direct.

We use a debit or credit card when you sign up for your 1st payment and deposit, further payments are made via your bank account by Direct Debit automatically each month as all payments are in advance. Or you can pay upfront for the year, if you decide to leave before your year is up then any full months will be refunded back to you. Your deposit will be refunded when you move out, provided your space is empty, clean and your keys and fobs returned.

We recommend insuring your belongings while they’re in storage. Contact your insurer or broker and let them know you’re storing with us. They may be able to extend your existing cover at no extra cost.

Is there a minimum storage period?

There is a one-month minimum charge, although you can physically store your belongings for as little as one day. We simply require 14 days’ notice before moving out.

What can’t I put into storage?

Food or perishable goods unless securely packed so they are protected from and do not attract vermin... Any item that emits fumes, or odours... Combustible or flammable substances such as gas, paint, petrol, oil, cleaning solvents or compressed gases... Any illegal item or substances or goods illegally obtained such as illicit (counterfeit / smuggled) tobacco or alcohol and unlicensed or unsafe goods.

How secure is my space?

Both sites have plenty of space to park your vehicle right up to your unit. Both sites are very clean and a safe place to use. We also have 24-hour access to our sites; customers can enter using a fob system which is connected to the latest Net 2 security software. After logging who is coming on-site, the fully automated sliding gate will open. If you come on to the site when it is dark, floodlights will automatically come on. There also is a very high standard of CCTV which is constantly recording 24 hours a day and 17 cameras covering the site.

What people say about us

Exceptional 5.0 rating

Excellent service and would definitely use again or recommend to anyone. Costs are clear, service is impeccable and the site is very well managed.

Laura Toner

Very clean, well maintained and easy access. Perfect for storage while I had my house on the market. Friendly service made all the difference.

Peter Blake

Very secure and well-kept site, cheap price for a full-sized container, was paying the same price for a very small lock up at another well-known storage facility until I found Drive In Storage, that happy I even store my caravan on site for the best price for the storage facilities I have found.

Shaun Brown

The storage unit was brilliant. I used it for approx 18mths in between house moves and I cannot fault the unit or Dave - everything remained clean and dry in the sealed unit from start to finish. Fully secure lock up. Fair pricing for such a large unit. Thankyou.

Daniel Wikberg

Top rate service and value. State of the art security technology, large units at very reasonable prices, 24 hour access and top rate customer service. There's a reason there's a waiting list. But very much worth waiting for if you can. Can't recommend highly enough!

Michael Fox

Drive In Self Storage site with 24/7 access to its campervan and container compounds. I've had a container here for a few years now and highly recommend it.

Phoned up to enquire about prices when we found out last minute, we were needing to move out of our house and Drive In Self Storage managed to get us a storage unit available the next day. We were ensure how long we would need the unit for and they done everything they could to accommodate our needs. Clean and very spacious units with 24 hour access. Couldn't have asked for anything better.
